Went to store, item was damaged BUT got a 50% discount, went home and banged out the pushed in spots and works great. Ive had traps before And i have to say this is very well made,and the trap plate very effective. Nothing flimsy or cheap about this 2 trap package deal. Highly recommend 5*****

This trap works

I removed 4 squirrels from my house so far that kept trying to find an entry point by traveling on the roof and traversing my backyard fence. The trap spring mechanism would sometimes trigger with a stout wind, but the mechanism can be bent a little with plyers to prevent that. I put it on top of my fence and secured it with 2 easy-to-remove latches, but I would suggest not putting it on a surface you do not want chewed or clawed because those critters will try anything to get out. The trap holds, though, so I'm pleased with the purchase.
