American made, well built safe but banged up..

This safe was purchased to prevent the easy smash and grab. I know that you have to spend a lot more to get something really tough to get open. But we have layers of security in our home so I am not at all worried. The safe arrived on time but had been on a rough ride. It was in perfect working order but had some creases and dents consistent with an inattentive forklift operator. Tractor supply made it right and I couldn't be more please with the TSC store manager Chloe or Paul from TSC Corporate support. It was a top-notch customer experience. For my part, I was not a jerk about any of it and I think that goes a long way to getting a nice outcome from this situations. If you get this, you will be happy with it. If its banged up, expect it and work with TSC - they will make it right.

Do not waste your money, buy a better safe.

We bought this safe, knowing it was a Liberty we had confidence in it protecting our goods. We are in the middle of selling our house. After an open house our house was broken into, and our safe door was pried open. All of our belongings, pistols, rifles, cash, documents, optics, etc were stolen. The locking bolts on the sides are very thin, it did not take the thieves long to break into it. Do yourself a favor and get a better safe, with thicker locking bolts that go in the top and bottom.

The Liberty safe appears to be well made. I think the combination dial should be metal rather than plastic. Although it functions adequately, it appears and feels cheap on an otherwise nice product. As other have noted, thirty rifles will fit, if they are all 22 simple rifle. The addition of scopes, bipods, slings, etc reduces the number to much less than half.

Works well for intended purpose

This safe was delivered to my front door. The delivery company was courteous and resourceful to get the safe off the truck and to the front door. This meant the delivery company didn't have the proper equipment and the driver carefully wrangled the safe to my front door using an improperly sized pallet jack. Let me focus on the safe itself now. The safe was packed very well and arrived with no damage. I was able to use a strong dolly to move the safe on it's pallet to the installation location. I popped off the plastic covers over the lag bolts holding the safe to the pallet and was able to easily remove the lag bolts. The safe isn't too heavy to get it off the pallet with 1 strong person. The lag bolts conveniently took up the location of the floor anchors and I was able to secure the safe to the ground. The lock isn't as smooth as I prefer, but that is an upgrade for a later date. the folks that need to be able to open the safe quickly learned how to open it. Solid construction. Meant to keep honest people honest, not keep out a determined thief. I would recommend to folks looking for a good quality security container made in the USA.

DON’T BUY A GUN SAFE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a gun safe to be delivered to my home. The website said they would deliver it to the first floor. Instead, the driver dropped it off in the driveway, over 100 feet from the house. I had to spend $300 on a moving company to move it into the house. You’re better off buying from a local company who will do what they say.
