Q: Can roosters eat this also?

1 Answer
  • A: Feed this product to laying quail, pheasants, guinea hens, and chukars as the sole ration at the onset of egg production (this age will vary by species). Seasonal layers should be switched to a maintenance feed when egg production has stopped for the season. They can be transitioned back onto this product when egg production starts again in the spring. Do not feed to birds that are not laying eggs. Do not feed to male birds.

Q: On the layer chicken feed which is beyter the pellets or the crumbles

1 Answer
  • A: Both layer crumbles and layer pellets provide the same nutritional value for laying hens, but the best choice depends on individual preferences and management practices. Pellets tend to be less wasteful due to their larger size, while crumbles may be preferred by some chickens and can be easier for chicks to eat. Ultimately, the best option is to experiment and see what your flock prefers.

Drive up service

Upon arrival, Tractor Supply employee greeted me professionally and respectfully. Jeronimo, was busy loading vehicles. It was a very hot day, but he remained professional. One thing I'd like to add is this: It would help if there was a shade cloth for employees to stand and work under during the intense heat of So. Call. Thank you.

Yes, I recommend this product.
