FAQs

Regular maintenance for your lawn mower includes cleaning the mower deck, changing the oil, replacing the air filter, and sharpening the blades. Refer to your mower's manual for specific maintenance instructions.
It's generally not recommended to mow wet grass, as it can lead to an uneven cut and damage the lawn. Wet grass can also clog the mower deck.
If your blades show signs of excessive wear, chips or dents, it may be time to replace them. If sharpening doesn't improve cutting performance, replacement may be necessary.
Yes. Tractor Supply has the mower attachments you need to transform your zero-turn lawn mower into a year-round yard maintenance tool. Check out our selection of bagging options, mulching kits, snow plows, dump carts and more. We also carry accessories and supplies for zero-turn riding mower maintenance, such as mower engine oil, mower air filters and mower fuels and additives.
Push mowers are ideal for small to medium-sized lawns, typically under 1/2 acre. For land over ¾ acre, we recommend a riding lawn mower.
While durable push mowers with blade height adjustment features can mow thick grass, we recommend a trail mower for extremely thick brush and tall grass.
