The Chief 2 in. Bore x 12 in. Stroke WT Welded Hydraulic Cylinder is a high-quality welded hydraulic cylinder designed for heavier loads. The rod and base ends of the hydraulic cylinder are welded cross-tubes with grease zerks. Designed for performance, it has a heavy-duty piston as well as a piston stem complete with wear rings to reduce friction, and the screw-in gland is removable from the rod end. You can rest easy knowing this cylinder is ideally suited for construction, metal fabricating, waste/recycling, OEM trailer manufacturing, and agricultural applications.

  • Intended use: double-acting applications
  • Piston: ductile iron with wear ring(s)
  • Gland: ductile iron, screw-in design with wear ring
  • Tube: precision-honed steel
  • Rod: ground and polished chromed steel, minimum 75,000 PSI yield
  • Butt plate: steel
  • End mounts: steel cross-tubes with grease zerk
  • Spacer tube: steel on 48 in. stroke and above
  • Gland seal: polyurethane U-cup
  • Wiper: polyurethane
  • Piston seal: 755 Hallite with wear ring(s)
  • All other seals are selected and designed for maximum life
  • Functionally tested and pressurized to 1.5 times the normal working pressure for max reliability
  • 3,000 PSI operating range on the hydraulic cylinder
  • Pin diameter of 1 in. and rod diameter of 1.25 in.
  • Measures 19 in. retracted and 31 in. extended
  • Column load: 9,420 lb.
  • Includes SAE O-ring port hookups on small bores and NPT on the welded hydraulic cylinder's large bores
