The Junior Learning Letter Sound Frieze - PRINT is a classroom wall border display that covers the first 52 graphemes of Phase 2 (Letter Sounds) and Phase 3 (Phonics). Each letter is provided with a visual image and a catchy mnemonic to reinforce the letter sound. Borders are color-coded to their phases level where Phase 2 (Letter Sounds) in orange and Phase 3 (Phonics) in dark blue. The letters are color-coded to their phonics category where vowels in red, consonants in blue, consonant digraph in yellow, long vowel in green, r-controlled vowel digraph in purple, and multi-sound grapheme in brown.
