The AquaSpherePRO is an all-natural and eco-friendly time-released dispensing system that introduces beneficial bacteria and enzymes into the water, which helps to reduce excess nutrients and breaks down organic matter that clouds water. The AquaSpherePRO is designed to prevent issues in pods before they arise. It is important to add a new sphere to your pond every 30 days throughout the pond season (water temperatures 45 degrees and above). It's also important to use the correct treatment size for your specific water feature. You cannot over treat water but under treating may not yield desired results. This veterinarian-approved product is safe for livestock, wildlife, plants, pets and people, keeping your water clean in an environmentally friendly way.

Q: I don't have much of a serious problem with my pond. It is approx. 5/8 of an acre. I have Channel cats and grass carp that will work on the top of the water. Besides them I have 4 ducks and several kinds of fish in it. It won't hurt them?

1 Answer
  • A: Our products are all natural and will not hurt any fish, animals or humans. Here is how the Aquasphere works: Bioverse uses highly selective strains of beneficial bacteria with a proprietary blend of activation factors that work together to restore stagnant water and reduce organic growth. The bacteria work to consume the excess nutrients in the water while the enzymes work as a cleansing agent. What sets our product apart from others in the water maintenance market is the time release technology of our AquaSpherePRO. With a simple calculation to figure the gallons we can determine the right treatment for you. The excess nutrients in water is a food source for organic growth. Our AquaSpherePRO effectively reduce the growth by consuming its food source and will not harm any of your plants, fish or animals. Product application is easily done with the Aquasphere, which involves tossing the sphere into the pond. The sphere has openings that release live cultures of good bacteria continuously 24 hours a day for up to 30 days. The good bacteria works at the bottom of the pond, reducing the sludge layer from 10 to 20 percent a year. The sphere looks plastic but it is actually biodegradable and is made of a corn product. It is also weighted with sand, so there are no unnes.atural products entering the pond. We recommend treating when water temperatures are at or above 45 degrees. To calculate gallons - L x W- x Average depth x 7.5 = Gallons

Q: Can I use the Biosphere in a galvanized stock tank that is only 300 gallons? I only have 2 geese, and it's very difficult for me to drain and clean the tank every other day.

Q: What happens to the sphere after its used up? do you just have a bunch of these laying on the bottom of the pond?

1 Answer
  • A: The AquaSpherePRO is marine degradable. The outer shell (sphere) appears to be plastic but is actually made from a corn based resin. Depending on the makeup of the pond bottom (sediment layer) and other factors such as climate, the sphere will degrade in about 3-6 months. If your pond does not have a sediment layer it is recommended to tie a retrieval line to the sphere and place it in the waste after its 30 day use.

Q: How many would I use for a half acre pond with 4 different types of fish we catch and eat and will it harm dogs

1 Answer
  • A: The amount of spheres is going to depend on the number of gallons. Using an average depth of 6 ft with the half acre and came up with 975,000 gallons. Therefore, you would need to use two of the 500,000 gallon spheres. If there is any inflow or outflow of water, you will need to allow for this and double the amount of spheres.
