My tractor supply throws all the blast media in all the spaces for fine medium and coarse
There is no labels on the bag so you dont know what grade you are getting.
Using it strait from the bag wont work unless you have a serious heavy duty sandblaster.
There are to many big pieces that will clog the average gun let alone the crap guns they sell there. You will have to take a window screen and filter out all the big stuff and you will be left with perfect size pieces for your gun but half the amount, it will work that way and if it doesnt you have a poor setup. Would I buy it again, HELL NO.
Buy some quality media thats filtered perfect for you gun and pressure, glass beads will flow a lot smoother put more stuff on the part and be quicker. Tractor supply needs to get this crap off the floor along with there crap blast cabinets and guns!

So affordable for sandblasting media!!!

Seen reviews on this for fish tanks after using it in our gunsmithing shop for sandblasting firearms prior to painting. We use the red label=fine grit for the sandblaster and now the black label= medium grit for the tank substrate. Both work great and are SOOOOO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE than other options. Definitely more bang for your buck in both scenarios! Would recommend and have to multiple people, we go thru tons of media at our gunsmithing shop, prepping before gunkote and this is so much more affordable than our previous media! I would make sure to feel the bag as employees don’t always know that there Is a difference and will just hand you a bag. I was given the wrong thing multiple times and had to Switch it out for the right grit according to what I was using it for.

I bought 3 bags of fine blasting abrasive. My sandblaster continued to stop up to the point I had to dump 300lbs and sift it. What has happened to quality control?!?

This stuff is trash. There’s bits of large media mixed in with it. My 3mm nozzle is clogging every couple minutes. What a waste.

Great for gentle rust removal. Used in a small hand held blaster. Removed all the rust without impacting base metal. Easy flow, no clogging
