Q: Would this make a safe replacement tire on a 2 horse tandem axle trailer ? Fully loaded about 3500 lbs including trailer weight.
5 years ago- A: If you are planning on driving at tow vehicle rating of 60mph or less, it might work; but is cutting it close. This assembly is rated @ 1,820lbs at 50PSI/tire – 60MPH tow rating. Our recommendation would be to try something that is rated to carry a bit more weight, as most people tend to drive faster than the tested rating. The weight carrying capacity does become reduced when travelling at faster speeds.5 years agoHelpful?
