The Champion Power Equipment 18040 85-Foot Gray Dyneema Synthetic Winch Rope is designed for use with 8000-12,000-lb. Truck/SUV winches, and is a safe, strong and flexible solution for a great winching experience. This hi-tech SK75 Dyneema synthetic fiber stores less kinetic energy and will not recoil with as much force as steel, and if it breaks, it can be repaired in the field, plus it floats in water. There's less chance of injury since it's free of wire splinters or burrs, and it won't fray, kink or curl due to its high flexibility and low weight. Designed with a stainless steel thimble and protective sleeve, the 85-foot by 11/32-inch synthetic winch rope is designed to be used with an aluminum hawse fairlead. Buy with confidence - Champion will back up your purchase with a 1-year limited warranty.

    I went to install the rope and it did not fit the winch. I had to cut the mounting lug off the rope and alter the mounting
