  • A: The 2118118 TSC shank is ¾”(.720) thick x 2-1/2” wide x 18” overall length with point; with 4 (9/16”) adjusting holes 2” apart.

Q: The tooth on this isn't welded on but it crimped on. Why can't I just put a replacement crimp on tooth if the original tooth comes off?

Q: Can you buy just the tip or do you have to buy the entire thing?

  • A: You have to buy 1 whole shank. You will need a pin also. A boxblade usually has slots for 4 shanks. The pins come in a packet of 4.. It's one welded piece. There is no way to just take the tip.

Q: Is the shank 18 inches long, or is that the overall length?

  • A: Per the manufacturer: The ripper shank with attached point is 18.25” to 18.5” top of shank to tip of point. If the point was removed the shank itself would measure 17.9” to 18”.

Anywhere else you can buy a set of 5 of these ripper shanks for around $80 to $100. $70 for one of these is just ridiculous and uncalled for.
