Use this daylily for groundcover, edging, mass planting, or an accent planting. Furthermore, consider mass planting the Evergreen Stella in a large area that you don't enjoy maintaining. Spring through fall will see a dramatic mass spectacle of blooms, and you'll save yourself time and effort. They also make a compelling companion to taller border shrubs. This Hemerocallis reaches around 1 ft tall and will spread with time. After several years, you may need to divide your daylilies. After they are divided, you will be left with more plants to re-home with a friend or plant somewhere that could use a little color boost.
