The type 29 fiberglass backing provides optimal grinding angle of 10-25 degrees, allows full use of the flap disc, and won't mar the work piece. Applications of the flap disc include weld blending, removing weld slag, debarring, surface finishing and preparation, edge blending and chamfering.
