Originally I was feeding my three dogs Science Diet. As the economy grew worse, so did our budget. I wanted to change the food, but I didn't want to sacrifice quality. Diamond dog food was recommended by my neighbor. I looked at the Diamond Web site and I was pleasantly surprised that it was made in the United States. The ingredients were identical to that in Science Diet and Diamond also has 150 quality checks to inspect their food. My dogs loved it and kept their nice shiny coats. Excellent quality without my wallet running on empty.

and better than Science diet in terms of ingredient quality and bio-availability of the nutrient content. By-products, corn, and whest are not considered high quality, but they are acceptable. They earn the extra star for being honest about whats in the food and avoiding ingredient splitting....the price helps too. This is a quality buy.
