Unlike its bigger brothers, the PREMIER is designed exclusively as a mower (it does not accept our optional attachments), which allowed us to take weight out of the frame...and that translates into easier, more responsive handling in the field. with a 26 in. cutting width and three forward speeds (as well as powered reverse) the PREMIER has everything you need to churn through the thickest field grass and clear out overgrown brush, including saplings up to 2 in. in diameter. - Gear-Driven Transmission: Lock it in and Rip it up! Unlike hydrostatic drives, the DR's geared transmission lets you lock in your ground speed, leaving your hands free to steer the machine across uneven terrain (instead of fussing with touchy throttle controls as you go). with 3 forward gears, you can choose a fixed pace that's right for you.
- Big, Lugged Tires for Sure Traction These are big (16 in. x 4.75 in.), lugged tires that pull the PREMIER through or over just about anything, and they are sealant filled...which means they're highly resistant to puncture. Tough as nails, apparently!
- Custom-Made Blade Spindle Made of 1.375 in. thick cast iron with oversized double sealed bearings, the blade spindle is integrated into the deck housing and reinforced for vibration-free performance. Designed to provide years of maintenance-free use (and abuse!).

For some reason my husband got confused and didn't put enough engine oil in the brand new machine. Then the aluminum engine melted during use. Wouldn't start, zero compression. Took it to a authorized repair and it had no oil. Cost us almost as much as the brand new machine was to replace the engine. So please carefully check the oil levels. *cry*

Lacking Power

Looks quality built, engine starts easily the forward and reverse shifting is not very smooth seems like future problems, it cuts dry moderately thick brush good but would not cut 2ft-3ft tall green grass/weeds, not enough power.

Thank you for leaving us a review about your new brush mower. When shifting between gears, ensure that after moving the shift lever to the desired gear, that you slowly and gently squeeze the Traction Drive Lever to engage the gear. This mower should have no issue cutting through 4' High Grass, 8' High Weeds and Brush, and 2" Dia. Saplings. if this has not been your experience, make sure that the Throttle Lever is in the run position when mowing, and mow slowly, especially when clearing thick stands of brush or weeds. Additionally, verify that the air filter and spark plugs are clean. If dirty or old, replace. The same goes for gas and oil- make sure you are using fresh gasoline and oil to ensure proper engine performance. If you need additional support with your product, contact us at www.DRpower.com.
