Deracoxib Chewable Tablets are a member of the coxib class of non-narcotic, nonsteroidal, cyclooxygenase-inhibiting anti-inflammatory drugs for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic and dental surgery and for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Special Precautions

Not for use in humans. Keep this and all medications out of reach of children. Consult a physician in case of accidental ingestion by humans. For use in dogs only. Do not use in cats. As a class, NSAIDs may be associated with gastrointestinal, renal and hepatic toxicity.

Side Effects

The most common side effects associated with Deracoxib Chewable Tablets therapy involve the digestive tract (vomiting, decreased appetite and diarrhea). Liver and kidney problems have also been reported.

Storage

Deracoxib Chewable Tablets should be Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), excursions permitted between 15° and 30°C (between 59° and 86°F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature].
