Beast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just used the new pole saw. I have two corded electric pole saw's, one was my fathers that I keep in Michigan. I will probably be selling both in next garage sale! I was slightly skeptical because both electric have an extendable pole, the greenworks has an extra section. Worked out great, saw worked great, run time using saw was longer than expected!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Minor issues

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Oil drips constantly covering the entire saw and chain in oil later the chain would slip off entirely easily while cutting because the chain is so lose on this product. The Oil leaks made it x10 more frustratingly to put it back in place

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello Itsbobby. Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced with your Greenworks 60V pole saw. Both oil leaks and a slipping chain can usually be addressed, and we would like to help. For oil leaks: A little seepage is normal, but constant dripping is not. This can sometimes be caused by pressure in the oil tank, worn seals, a clogged vent, or a defective oiler. Storing the saw upright, slightly loosening the oil cap, and inspecting or replacing worn seals often helps. For a slipping chain: Chains naturally stretch over time, and tensioning hardware or worn bars/sprockets can also cause issues. Ensuring the chain is installed correctly, tensioned properly, and that all parts are in good condition usually solves the problem. We recommend keeping the oil tank half-full, wiping the saw clean after use, and inspecting key parts regularly. Here is a video that walks you through assembly, correct tensioning, and general operation of your pole saw (https://youtu.be/rFsPTdG82nM). If your saw is still under warranty and the problem persists, please reach out to Greenworks customer service. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, accessible by clicking “Chat with an Expert” in the bottom corner of your screen, Chat with a Live Agent (M–F 9 AM – 5PM EST) or by calling 1‑888‑909‑6757 (M–F 9 AM–7 PM EST, Sat–Sun 9 AM–5 PM EST). So, our experts can discuss your experience; please have your unit, battery and charger with you along with the model and serial number to complete troubleshooting to ensure quick resolution is provided. *Hours are subject to change. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope these tips help you get back to smooth, safe operation!

Seems to work well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this a little. it works great. I am a little concerned about the weight distribution. All the weight is on both ends. I worry about it bending in the middle. I especially like that the middle section can be removed. After all, not everything needing pruned is ten feet up.
