A sander built to the scale and level of quality professional woodworkers demand. The heavy-duty G1276 Combination Sander features a 6" x 48" sanding belt that operates horizontally, vertically, or at any angle in between and a 12" disc.

The sanding belt speed is a low 2500 FPM, while the disc speed is 1725 RPM.

The 7" wide, 16-1/2" long work table supports workpieces when using the 12" sanding disc. It tilts from 30° to the left and 45° to the right.

The convenient, quick-release lever makes belt changes and tension adjustment a snap.

Belt rollers have shielded ball bearings and the top roller has a fine-tuning knob for precision tracking.

Base accepts 5/8" fasteners for mounting to workbench.

Additional features include a built-in an adjustable miter gauge, 2-1/2"and 3"dust ports, plus T-slots in the cast-iron work tables.

Like all Grizzly benchtop machines, the G1276 comes with a 1-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects.

The G1276 manual was written by the U.S.-based Grizzly Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information. The complete and easy-to-read manual makes it easier to assemble and maintain your sander.

The Grizzly Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are also U.S.-based. Parts for the sander may be available online and shipped from the Grizzly parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

    Fantastic machine

    I bought this new sander as a replacement for a g1014z sander that I purchased 25 years ago and just handed down last week to my son after having been used almost weekly. this new sander has wonderful dust collection for both disk and belt. I find that it runs extremely smooth and i like that it does not have a graphite pad under the belt as the pad does wear out. I found the set up easy but i would recommend having help to get it set on whatever table you plan on using as it is a heavy beast, I built a sturdy cabinet so I can wheel it around. Both of the tables for it are large and clean up easily(machine grease). I really like that the miter is made of metal and not cheap plastic. Barring unforseen circumstances i expect this machine to outlive me.

    I would purchase the belt sander again

    We received our item quickly assembly instructions were east to follow. We have been using it for two weeks now plenty of power works great.

    Like the tables and a hearty solid manchine

    Heavy and stout. Wish it had rubber feet. The reason for the 2 rating is setup. It took two hours to get it to work. Primarily due to the poor castings. The trunnion for the belt sander had to be filed down across its entire span due to the rubbing. Took quite some time with a hand file. Left the Dremel at the lake. Then more filing of the disc sander table. It rubbed the disc badly on one side. Once this was done I was finally able to turn it on. Appears to run well now. If there are more problems I will write back. I have always been a Jet buyer. This was my first time buying Grizzly. Not sure I will try again. I expect this with Harbor Freight. Assumed Grizzly was better quality.

    I bought my 6" x 48" Belt/12" dIsc sander 19 years ago.

    It's been fabulous; has never failed me. I have it on a heavy roll-around stand and move it to my work when needed. It's heavy! (That's probably a good thing). I've never regretted spending the money on it.
