Designed by us, this drill press is very popular with both wood and metalworking shops that have bulky projects. Head swivels 360° and tilts 45° left and right. Swing is a huge 45 in. (you can drill in the middle of a 45 in. Dia piece) and spindle can be brought close to the column with the uniquely designed swivel post. Slots in table allow you to use varieties of clamps.

    Worst purchase I ever made! Extremely unbalanced, can’t tilt the head without 2 friends and a hoist! Belts too short for easy speed changes, quill travel is too short, Morse taper won’t hold chuck without super glue, quill has excessive runout, horrible slop in height adjustment! I own a dozen Grizzly machines, but this one is junk!

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    bought this about 15 years ago right from the former grizzly store in muncy pa. this thing is a monster. super happy with purchase. the only things that needed changing were the quill threaded stop, drill chuck, and the knobs on the quill feed. cant speak for the quality of current production, ( we all say they dont make em like they used to ). there is plenty of room to drill any project i gave it. this is a machine worth looking at.

    Whimpy metal drill press

    Typical Chinese engineering. Looks good but lacks drilling power. Main Column flexes with any drilling pressure. Looks like you get what you pay for.

    Very happy but the only thing that I wasnt happy about was the shipping for some reason my number that I gave to grizzly was messed up when grizzly gave it to ups so my shipment took 5 days longer to get to me because ups couldnt get ahold of me to schedule my delivery. Very happy with the product. Super nice drill!!!!
