I have been feeding Hills diets, both science and prescription diets, for over 30 years. Science diet keeps my fur babies healthy. When needed, Rx diets have helped to maintain health issues therefore extending the life of my precious kids. Don't be fooled by wanna be diets. Go with the proven record of Hills.

My 16 year old cat loves this food, but I was concerned to find some bits of what looks like rubber in the latest shipment from Chewy. I have to mash pills up in his food, and in doing this, I found some 1/4" by 1/8 inch size beige rubber bits that I couldn't split in half with a fingernail. He has surely gulped a few down before I discovered this. Looks harmless, but why is this in the food?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for your review. When this product is manufactured, the meat is ground through one-fourth to one-half inch plate, depending on the product. Small pieces are expected as they may pass through the plate and are not harmful in any way. Hill's Pet Nutrition
