Use the Ideal Animal Health Horse and Livestock Blood Stop Powder for animals, including horses, cattle and sheep, to aid in control of capillary bleeding from minor cuts and wounds. This hemostatic powder may also be used on dogs and cats when clipping nails or claws. Apply Blood Stop Powder freely to wound area. Bandage in place if necessary.

  • Hemostatic powder with an iron base and containing chloroxylenol for topical administration
  • For use when bleeding is caused by clipping nails or claws
  • 16 oz. blood stop powder for animals
  • Ideal for horses, cattle, sheep, dogs and cats
  • Directions: Apply Blood Stop Powder freely to wound area; Bandage in place if necessary; After bleeding has stopped, apply Blood Stop Powder again to prevent recurrence of bleeding; Do not disturb scab formed over the wound or bleeding may start again
  • CAUTION: This product is not sterile; Do not apply to deep wounds or body cavities; For external use only; Not for human use; Store at room temperature and keep container tightly closed

    Just what I needed

    I got this to have on hand. I keep goats and was trimming back a horn scur and wanted to have this on hand in case I ran into some bleeding. Thankfully I didn't need it, but now I have it! Only thing is I wish they had this in store. I had to order to pickup in store.
