Not the best for outdoor pond

We use it in a goldfish pond outdoors. Gets clogged up too fast, have to clean it at least once a week.

Worked briefly.

Used the pump one time to test. Went to turn it on after a week and it no longer works. I did use it for a parts washer with varsol in it is the only reason I put 3 stars. Would think for 60 bucks it would be compatible.

Great pump for rain barrels

I bought this pump to move water from my rain barrels to water my garden. I just drop the pump into each barrel.
It delivers close to the rated 2 gallons a minute through a 100 foot hose on level ground. That's about the right flow for watering. I move an open-ended hose from tomato plant to tomato plant every minute.
I tried a 25 foot hose and an 8 foot lift and didn't get any flow. Four or five feet is about the max but with much reduced flow.
Yes, I recommend this product.
