- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Disassemble the bottle, soak all parts in a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts warm water for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then scrub with a bottle brush and rinse thoroughly. Optionally, sanitize with a mild bleach solution (1 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water) for 5–10 minutes, rinse well, and let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. To prevent algae, keep the bottle out of direct sunlight and change the water every 1–2 days.10 months agoHelpful?

Nothing comes out

I saw other reviews saying they leak but the ones I got nothing even comes out. I got them for my guinea pigs and the poor things could hardly get any water out at all. I’ll be returning these.

I purchased 9 of these water bottles and all of them leaked. Must of been a bad batch. Tractor Supply did refund my money.

I bought 8 of these. In the whole pack. Most of them keep leaking. They are so complicated. I do love that they big and last the whole day. But it irritates me that most of them keep leaking out.

This bottle leaked from the start. Not even a slow drip, but a rapid dripping unless it was suspended in a reverse fashion in which it would not be able to attach to the cage. It could not create the vacuum seal it needed.
