Our growing media products are not sterilized and may contain microorganisms including fungus. The mold and fungus that grows on soils and mulch will not harm plants and is safe for people and pets to be around although as always we recommend you use gloves when handling. Keep in mind that mold and fungus on growing media or mulch will go away with sunlight and air circulation. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee.
