Q: How many bags does it take to put 6 inches of soil in the 48 x 23 above ground garden?
a year ago- A: Hi Dave! Thanks for reaching out about how many bags of Miracle-Gro Raised Bed Soil you'll need for your garden. We're happy to help you figure that out! Since we don't know what unit of measurement you're using for your garden size, we've put together some information to help you calculate the amount you'll need. A 1.5 cubic foot bag of Miracle-Gro Raised Bed Soil can cover a specific area depending on the depth of your raised bed. For a 2 ft x 2 ft bed, you'll need 2 bags for a 6-inch depth, 3 bags for a 12-inch depth, and 5 bags for a 20-inch depth. For a 4 ft x 4 ft bed, you'll need 6 bags for a 6-inch depth, 11 bags for a 12-inch depth, and 18 bags for a 20-inch depth. If you have a 4 ft x 8 ft bed, you'll need 11 bags for a 6-inch depth, 22 bags for a 12-inch depth, and 36 bags for a 20-inch depth. And for two 4 ft x 8 ft beds, you'll need 22 bags for a 6-inch depth, 43 bags for a 12-inch depth, and 72 bags for a 20-inch depth. We hope this information helps you determine the right amount of Miracle-Gro Raised Bed Soil for your garden. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
