Overall better than I expected

These boots turned out better than I expected. They seem pretty sturdy and have some weight to them. We have horses and these definitely seem sturdy enough to do some daily chores with when things are damp out there, but I think I would buy a second pair for messier work like that. The traction is excellent with these boots (felt secure on snow and ice). I usually take size 13 extra wide shoes and these shoes just fit me length wise with work socks like Dickies. The width seems fine, but I think a very thick pair of winter socks would not work for me in these boots. It's a little of work to try and slip my feet into these without having to reach down but it can be done. I suppose if they were too easy to slip into they might not stay on my feet as securely as they do. Working out great to go out and feed the birds in the winter right now. Overall I'm pretty happy with these and looking forward to wearing these out in the garden this spring. I will say the retail price seems high so I feel better getting them when they were on sale.
