Decent boots for the money. We'll see how they hold up over time. There's not much padding in the sole (or the upper, for that matter). The toe box is a little weirdly shaped in my opinion, in that my big toe rubs just a little on the corner. Normally I wear a 12 and have a little room at the toe. I ordered extra wide width in hopes to have a little extra room on the sides of the toes and that's not quite how they're shaped. This is not a boot I would do any intense hikes in, but hopefully will do well for my light use - I need a waterproof shoe for dropoff duty at my school, and as a teacher I'm on my feet a lot. So far after a little over a week they've done ok, but I need to be particular about the socks I wear with them.

At first the width (EE) is perfect for my barking dogs. I must point out that during my first 2 mile walk the right boot was biting into the ankle bone. I was wearing compression socks which are on the thin side which didn't mix with the stiffness of new boots. So rather than return boots I gave them another try walking with thicker socks, as the stiffness began to lesson now the boots are no longer painful. Wooooohoooooo!
