The purpose of the Carburetor is to create a combustible mixture of liquid gas and air in the engine. OakTen carburetors are pre-set and adjusted to be ready for having your equipment back to use once mounted on. A clean and properly adjusted carb allows the engine to run smoothly and deliver optimal power for your equipment. To prolong the life of the carb, it is important to ensure the fuel in your tank is free of dirt, debris, or water. If you use your equipment infrequently and don't use ethanol-free fuel, consider running the engine until it dies to ensure the carb is completely free of fuel after each use. OakTen offers one year warranty for all the carburetors sold, verify the OEM part number by referring engine model number and the parts manual.
