Kill bed bugs, fleas and other listed insects fast with the Ortho 18 oz. Home Defense Max Bed Bug Killer. The bed bug killer formula kills the toughest (pyrethroid-resistant) bed bugs and their eggs. This fast-acting bed bug killer spray works on bed bugs, fleas, brown dog ticks, ants (excluding fire, pharaoh, and harvester ants), spiders (excluding brown recluse and black widow) and other insects (as listed).

Kill even the toughest (pyrethroid-resistant) bed bugs and their eggs with the bed bug killer

Aerosol ineffective on resistant bugs

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago. I had hopes for the claimed residual effects, but the product is ineffective on my resistant bedbugs. Many bugs survive direct contact with the fresh spray, and residual effects appear to be non-existent. However, the "Bed Bug Max" liquid in the gallon jug is an effective contact killer. Too bad it has no residual effects.

Until I realized life cycle of eggs hatching in 5 days I tried and lost til I started spraying and steaming every 4 days and looking to kill any survivors....does not last and kill for 16 weeks.
