- A: Hello Dan. Ortho Bugclear Insect Killer For Lawns & Landscapes Concentrate can be used with a hose-end sprayer such as a Dial N Spray. When using the Ortho Dial N Spray applicator and Dial N Spray Jar: -Set dial to 1.5 fl oz. -Pour product into jar to full or one-half full. -Do not add water -Attach the hose to the sprayer. -Spray evenly over the application site -Unused product must be poured back into its original container. When using the Ortho Dial N Spray applicator with the Bottle: -Set dial to 1.5 fl oz. -Connect the concentrate bottle to Dial N Spray with a one-quarter turn -Attach the hose to the sprayer. -Spray evenly over the application site -Unused product must be poured back into its original container. - A: Hi Cheryl! Thanks for your question. Ortho Bugclear Insect Killer For Lawns & Landscapes Concentrate should be applied in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours. You may resume normal watering after 24 hours. When using this product in lawns and treating for mole crickets water thoroughly immediately after application. Do not water the the treated area to the point of run-off and do not make applications during rain. You may reapply this product on your lawn 4 to 6 weeks after the initial application.9 months agoHelpful?

Works well, dries quickly

Worked well! No issues w/ hose connection that others mentioned. I used it for yellow jackets (under ground YJ nests, spiders and all the other creepy crawlers) and it definitely made a difference. Will spray again before the snow gets here.

Read the label. Follow the directions. Change the flow if you need to at the water spigot. It worked just fine for me and it killed the bugs I was concerned with.

Doesn't work on fleas

I used this product for fleas with no results. The 4 fake reviews out of 11 total should of told me it was just a waist of money.
ConsDidn't work as expected, Difficult to use, Messy
No, I do not recommend this product.
