Q: can the discharge be reduced down to accommodate a 3/8 hose for spraying?
7 years ago- A: 3/8” is too much restriction for this pump. Excess pressure can build up and damage the pump. A tee can be put in at the discharge and a line run back to the supply tank to provide for ample flow thru the pump. In dong this, a 5/8” garden hose size could be used.7 years agoHelpful?

7 years ago- A: The seal material in these pumps is designed for fresh water, agricultural chemicals and salt water. Oil, or any petroleum product with attack the rubber seals and ruin the pump.7 years agoHelpful?
