In cats and dogs with pancreatic insufficiency, serum concentrations of fat soluble vitamins E, D3, and A are typically sub-normal. In these cases, levels may not increase in response to enzyme treatment alone. Although there are no officially-established dosage levels, oral supplementation using fat-soluble vitamins is widely recommended and accepted.

Side Effects

Tongue or oral ulcers could occur with higher doses. These ulcers usually resolve following dose reduction or slight water dilution.

Storage

Store tightly closed container in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 35°C (95°F).

Tips

Dose depends on the weight of the pet and the severity of their condition. When clinical signs have been controlled, the dose can be lowered to the smallest effective dose. This supplement should not be directly mixed with your pet's food.
