This sliding window lock is constructed of an extruded aluminum housing with a diecast cam-action lever. Comes in an white finish. The design of this lock is manufactured to fit on older style, metal framed, horizontal sliding windows; usually of single pane glass, with a maximum fin thickness of 3/16 in. For vinyl windows consider using Prime-Line parts U 9809 or U 10547. This lock can be used to securely lock windows in closed or ventilating positions. These locks are easy to install and are used by a variety of consumers to increase the security of their home.
