Superior product!

I’d been using a well known name brand feed until I got a couple moldy/ bug infested bags and switched immediately to Producer’s Pride Layer feed and have never switched back. I’ve never had an issue with this brand, it’s always fresh and the smaller size of the pellets has been preferred by my flock. Great price in comparison to other brands too!

Chickens stopped laying eggs

Food has stopped my chickens from laying..I'm not the only one with this problem. I spoke to the store and basically it wasn't their problem. I was told to learn more about chickens. Thank you tractor supply for hearing me out and assuming I don't understand my chickens laying process.

I find that this brand of lay pellets are whole and not crumbled like other brands. I feed these to my chickens as well as my ducks. They seem to just gobble them up.

DO NOT FEED THIS TO YOUR HENS!!!! This is not healthy for the hens to eat since it is all fill. The egg production will stop or drop drastically. We used another brand then found this one thinking it would save us on spending but we were wrong. We slowly switched over the feed like you are supposed to and once they were fully switched the egg production dropped and some hens just stopped laying all together. we slowly switched them back and their e production came back.
