I bought this pump to replace a similar pump that suffered freeze damage. I use it to provide harvested rain water from a poly tank to 2 travel trailers. I have only had the new pump in use for several days, so I cannot comment on its long term reliability. This new pump serves its purpose well. It has an air bladder in the tank which allows it to supply up to 1 gallon of water before the pump motor cycles. Be aware that my pump differed from the TSC product description in one significant way. The description says “The pressure switch is pre-set at 1.5-5 bar.” This is equivalent to 22 to 73 PSI. According to the gauge on the pump and a separate gauge I use, my pump cycles on at about 20 PSI and shuts off at about 38 PSI. This is fine for my purposes so I have not explored the possibility of adjusting the pressure switch. The other criticism I have for the pump is the owner’s manual is not very helpful. It does not mention the fitting on top of the pump that can be used to prime the pump or the fitting near the bottom of the pump that can be used to drain it. With these warnings in mind, I would recommend this pump.

When we first got it we were surprised by how small the tank was compared to the other one we had before but it works well and does everything the other one did so we are pleased with it so far. We have been using it for over a week now and it is doing great.
