I have 2 miniature burros and a 16-hand, 25-year-old Tennessee Walker, no longer ridden. All 3 get this feed because regular equine feed is too rich in sugars for miniatures and for older, nonworking horses with metabolic syndrome. My horse is so sensitive to sugars that she cannot tolerate more than 30 min. of pasture grass a day, and is hay-fed year-round. When I switched her from Adult Equine Senior to the Miniature Horse and Pony Feed, she had fewer problems with her metabolic syndrome. I highly recommend this feed for anyone owning a horse with this chronic sugar-intolerance problem.

good feed poor stocking practices by Tractor Suppl

Like the feed but Tractor supply does not keep stock. I tried feed and would like to continue to use however, I cannot get the feed. Tractor supply ordered but warehouse has no stock and did not send. I have now made three trips to store looking for this feed! Can't feed something that I cannot get and quite frankly don't like to keep switching feed..tried to find else-ware... Purina will not send feed to local smaller operated stores....no good! I give up!
