The Rain Forest Large Black Polished Pebbles 30 lb. collection consists of naturally tumbled, hand-picked stones from around the world. The tumbling process results in a smooth, rounded shape that is ideal for landscaping purposes. A polish is applied to accentuate natural colors and patterns. These polished pebbles are complimented by a bag designed for easy handling and application, storing well with little maintenance needed. DYED Stones ?

Not sure about these - order came messed up, rocks are great, resemble potatoes, seriously, and the black comes off of them ? Why ? Very few were broken, but I ordered two boxes and only got one, had to go back to the store later for the second box - will see if these remain BLACk over time - very expensive for the number of BY WEIGHT price.............Davy
