I was buying the Fruit and Nut birdseed then picked up a bag of the Total Care Trail Mix with mealworms, and have been extremely pleased. I am getting a much larger variety of wild birds coming to the feeder. I don't even recognize all of them. Grosbeak just started visiting, and then three other birds I have not figured out yet. The Jay birds, Towhees, and California Thrashers love this seed! I will continue buying all of my seed from Tractor Supply as long as they keep providing good quality selections! I also buy five other types of seed.

The total care trail mix is pretty good but I think it's the meal worms that make it attractive to the birds. I can add meal worms to any seed. The low rating is mostly for the on line ordering and pickup and management. I ordered 5 items for curbside pickup. Every single item came in separately which caused a tremendous number of emails and 5 separate trips to the store!! On top of that at each trip, there was no curbside pickup. No one answers the phone. Had to go inside, which defeated the purpose of curbside pickup, then had to wait, and when we did get someone they did not know how to handle my order. This I blame on management. Apparently there is no employee training. Each visit was very lengthy, at least 30 minutes each. I will NOT be shopping at Tractor Supply again. A waste of my time and money.

This is the only bird feed I buy. I mix it with the hot pepper seed and find all my birds waiting in the trees while I'm "cooking" for them. They ALL love it.

Birds actually love this but, beware. I have gotten a nice crop of MOTHS hidden in the bags a few times. This last time though there were at least 100 flying around in the bag. It was gross. Glad I wasn't inside my garage when I opened the bag. Video wouldn't attach to this rating
