No squirrels made it past this baffle to date. The bird feeder is removed at night as a precaution against larger nocturnal critters that can muscle the baffle off of the tree branch.

Squirrel Baffle

The Squirrel Baffle is one of the best for it's multifunctionality. As a baffle, the squirrels have a challenge accessing the feeder. It's fun to watch a hungry squirrel trying to figure out the best way to get a treat. They do learn to leave the feeder alone since the baffle's shape does discourage the squirrel. This winter the baffle is also doing duty as storm protection. The deep curve and shape does help to protect the feeder from bad conditions and it also keeps the seed dry. The birds just love the added overhead coverage during bad weather along with keeping them a little safe from predators.

Big Failure!!

Well my husband went bright and early this morning and bought this device.
It worked for about an hour and a half!!
He filled the feeder before putting it on and now 6 hours later the feeder is empty!
Don't waste your money!!
