safari or evolution

Love the Safari Shed Magic - so does my Shiba Inu! Groomer uses it and says it is much better and doesn't harm the dog like the "ator" products. Question - Is Evolution a newer better version of this or older? Confused. I see both on the website and want to buy and recommend the right one.
