My second Senix tool. Quality 4 cycle string trimmer, easy to start, easy to use, good quality, fantastic price.

The starter rope handle broke after the first day of use, and it takes a while too start but from my limited use it handles weeds.

Does exactly as it should...only complaint wish it came with a strap

Got this to replace my 30cc Craftsman "professional" straight shaft, fixed line head trimmer. No matter how much I spend, every trimmer seems to have a 3-year shelf life before blowing up... that said, I decided to spend a little less on this model, and, although it has some hesitation to start, it ran well AND, most importantly, managed to trim some heavy weeds with minimal bogging, no tangling, and, once I replaced the trash orange line it came with getting some new, less brittle .095 line, I managed to do more area than I was doing with .130 in the craftsman. Double bonus, the straight shaft lower with the fixed line head fits this unit so when I run down to the last 14" of line that flies off the spool, I hook up the fixed head and use that for another 15 minutes of trimming. The guard is on the small side, so expect trimmings to blow back at you, but, as mentioned above, weeds won't get wrapped around the head. Also, the fuel tank is a little small... this is definitely designed for homeowners with a <.5 acre lot, but it can handle more if you need it to. It does get hot. And, finally, rather than a standard foam air filter is has some kind of proprietary mesh thing that I think you can clean, but doubt it can be replaced easily. For the price I am very happy. I will say that loading the line is not as simple as some units, but it's also not that bad. The line that came with the unit was trash... it jammed a few times, and when it ran out I inspected the spool and there was scoring from the line cutting into the spool. Find a better brand of line and you'll be happier.
