[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually secure my pop up shelters to the ground via stakes or dog run anchors, but sometimes that isn't an option if you're on surfaces like concrete, pavement, etc. I've seen others use buckets of concrete as weighted anchors, but that requires you to manage buckets of hardened concrete for the rest of your life, and no one really wants that. The SHAX 6094 bags provide an much better alternative. They are plenty big and provide adequate weight when filled, which is easy to do, even alone, with the funnel-mouthed openings, and the two-section construction allows the bag to fold around the legs of the shelter and sit on the foot, instead of simply being strapped to one side. The physics is much like a toddler hanging onto your leg while you are trying to walk. Very effective, and unlike the toddler, the bags don't whine. Easily emptied and packed away in the carry bag of your shelter.

To counter aggressive winds we opted to double down on the weight bags, placing one on each corner-post. We found pea gravel optimal for filling the bags.

Once attached with a strap, they provide excellent security to keep your work shelter in place. This system is much better than standard foot weights.
