A large capacity wood lathe with variable frequency drive. Wood turners who enjoy making large bowls, vases, furniture pieces, and other large-diameter projects require power, capacity and high-torque to meet their performance needs.
You get all three and then some with this burly lathe that weighs in at over a quarter-of-a-ton.
The 3 hp Delta single-phase frequency drive provides 3-phase variable speed control with single-phase power supply (VFD). The VFD saves you money by increasing the efficiency of the motor and decreasing electricity use. It reduces wear and tear on the motor which extends the life of the lathe.
With 22" of swing,and 1-1/4" x 8 TPI RH spindle, this lathe delivers the goods to gratify even the most discerning of turners.
The pulley belt configurations provide two speed ranges: 100-1200 RPM low and 330-3200 RPM high, perfect for both large and small turning projects and finishing.
Spindle speed is conveniently displayed on digital readout just above the speed control.
