Dust port problem.
My wife bought this for me for Christmas. Not a bad machine, but why is the dust port in front of the machine. You either have to straddle or stand to the side. Do not like this feature. Guess I can hook up an elbow. Maybe I am doing something wrong??
Yes, I recommend this product.

We hope you’re enjoying your Christmas gift so far! On most modern scroll saws the dust port is intentionally located at the front of the machine. This has become a common design feature, as it allows for the most effective dust removal when using smaller shop vacuums. Front‑mounted ports tend to capture fine debris more efficiently and provide clearer visibility of the cutting line. You’re definitely not doing anything wrong, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. If you have any other questions or need help finding accessories that might improve usability, we’re happy to help!

Got it to cut thin plastic when I recycle donated printers. Should work fine. Haven't put it to the test yet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

It sounds like the scroll saw will be used for a great cause, and it should handle thin plastic trimming very well when you're ready to put it to work. If any questions come up once you start testing it, feel free to reach out, we’re always happy to help. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review!

Angle Guide
I'm not happy with the angle guide at all. The bottom of the guide and the tracks in the table are so sloppy that it will change the degrees by at least 3 degrees each way. I'm 74 years old I can do much better without the guide.
Yes, I recommend this product.
