Chops branches fine, it hasn’t broke so far but my only problem is that when it came out of the box the blade was bent

I'm a lifetime outdoors explorer and this is a great little device. It's hard to beat the cheap standard machete found all over the world, but this little tool is exceeds expectations. When I go fishing and I'm locating new river access, I bring this along and it works great. Good tool. Good construction. Going to buy a couple for my field crew.

I actually like the design other than the metal on the end of the handle cut my hand several times, and blade is weak

Nice sheath, comfortable handle, nice finish, good balance and lightweight if that's what you're after. Unfortunately I like a little more heft and a blade that doesn't appear to be similar to aluminum like this one. I had a tough time cutting twiggy brush. This is for softer fleshy brush and weed cutting only.
