Useful tool

This tool is made well and easy to use. One side is for pulling off molding and the other side gets out the nails easily. When you have the right tool the job gets done quickly, efficiently and without damaging the wall too much. Worked well on door molding and base board molding.

Easy to Use

My wife and I are doing floor renovations and this tool was extremely helpful. The tool itself is a little heavy but with a little time you get used to it. I am not a carpenter so this pry bar made my job of removing the molding a lot easier. The length of the pry bar is perfect and allows you to remove the molding from different reaches and angles. Having the additional flat piece of the back allows for a smooth removal from the wall. It took a little practice but I got it to eventually remove the molding without messing up the walls to much. I really like that the prongs are long enough and helped us remove the finishing nails pretty easily. This product definitely helped and has encouraged us to continue with the rest of the house.

You need this for trim projects

Highly recommend this molding pry bar if you are replacing trim in your home. The pry bar feels well balanced and solid in your hands making it easy to use exactly as intended. One side is able to pull out nails, and the other can get between the wall and existing moulding to remove it without damaging the wall. Having removed baseboards and crown without this, and now with this tool… this tool is the way to go. Much less damage, much faster process.

Love this pry bar!

I live in an older home & recently decided to sand & re-stain all my molding/trim. Once I started the project I found not only were the molding/trim pieces heavily nailed in but some pieces were also glued. I was have a hard time getting some pieces off with the crowbar I was using. That's when I decided to try the Spec Ops 11" Molding Pry Bar. So far this pry bar has been working SO well. For the baseboards I use the straight/flat end & for the trim around all my doors the claw-foot end works really well. Best of all, it is both sturdy & lightweight making it very easy to use. I think this is my new favorite tool!
