After taking a welding class a couple of years ago, I finally bought a torch kit. My instructor taught ag in a local high school for many years and taught the night welding class I took. He thought there was only one torch manufacturer making product worth owning and that was Victor; I was very pleased to find TSC and Pony packaging a kit with a decent Victor model. The torch comes with a #0 cutting tip which is plenty of tip for chores around our small ranch. The included cart is decent, but the wheels are too small unless you are always on a smooth surface. I will put much larger wheels on the cart asap. Be advised the kit price includes *empty* bottles, so factor in the price of gas into your purchase. The included goggles are pretty basic and I won't use them. I picked up a nice pair of flip-up goggles when I bought the set. You wouldn't want to earn a living with this packaged kit, but for sometimes use around our place it will be perfectly suitable.

Bought this for use at my farm for ongoing use but needed it immediately for stubborn bolts on a 30 year old tractor. Unboxing and assembling the kit was relatively easy. However I gave it 3 stars because the glass was broken on the oxy gauge right out of the box. Like most tools I buy they are purchased for immediate use and did not have time to spare to return the kit back to TSC for replacement. The wheels on the cart are assuming you will only use this in a work area that is flat or concrete. I will probably modify the cart to have bigger wheels for grass fields. If you notice the pictures you will see the tanks are well used and is what you should expect with the exchange service. The tanks were exchanged at TSC and that was a little bit of a hassle as well. They sold me #3 oxy and #3 acetylene but only had the oxy in stock. So I had to drive 20 min away to get acetylene from another TSC. When the pics were taken the unit had been out of the box for 3 days, used once and stored in a shed. Hopefully this review helps with your decision regarding this product
