It is nice that I only have to scoop solids - this saves litter and money. My cats seemed to really like it. Cons: I think it emits more dust than my regular wheat-based litter. The litter granules are a little larger than I am used to and they hurt when I step on them. On the whole, this is a good product.

So first off, my cats were so intrigued by this letter. They were sniffing the bag before it was even opened, and then once we put it in their litter box, they all three took turns just checking it out. They were sniffing it and all had to take a turn using it right away! They haven’t done that with all the litters that I have tried. I really thought I was going to like this a lot at first, but unfortunately, a couple of the claims failed. The three main things that I’m looking for in a litter are low odor, as dust free as possible, and not harmful to my cats. I thought. I would try another clay litter because it’s been a while and we’ve been using a silica litter that I don’t think is that good for the cats so I was excited to try this. I’ll just start with, clay litter is much better for cats than silica so right off the bat it passed that test! It also was pretty low odor at first, but once it was used after a few days, it did not seem to mask the smell at all, and I was very disappointed in that. The litter box was being changed twice a day and after a few days it just smelled, there was no getting around it and no masking it. It just smelled horrible. And the third thing that I try to avoid is dust. I would say after the second day, it seemed to have just as much dust as any other litter so I was disappointed in that as well. The third thing that I really didn’t love and I remember why we left clay litter in the first place was that it just absorbs the urine. It ends up being almost the consistency of wet clay. It’s definitely not a bad litter and better for my cats than what we had been previously using, but I was disappointed in a few of the claims that I didn’t feel it lived up to.
