Per the US1269E Owner's Manual, you must use a UL-listed stove board with a minimum R-value of 2.06 to provide necessary thermal protection. Standard tile and backer board only provide "ember protection" and lack the thickness required to prevent the wooden floor underneath from charring over time.3 months agoHelpful?

The delivery people damaged it and I had to return it. The delivery people didn't use any type of equipment. They didn't carry it. They flipped it over and over until they got to my porch from the road. I would've liked to get another but they are out of stock.

Very efficient wood stove…run all day and all night and load it up in the morning, mid afternoon and before bed. This thing gets up to 500 degrees so make sure u have space around where you are placing it. They door is fine the latch is crap, will modify it but other than that this thing puts off heat and and for the price you can’t beat it. Define a good purchase.

Nice little stove

Great stove but it does have a learning curve. Make sure to light your first fire outside before you set the stove up “the curing process”. It smoked out my entire cabin during the first fire and also had a terrible smell. I have it installed in a 350 sq ft cabin and even with small fires it keeps it nice and toasty. It does have a re-burner system so open the door slowly to prevent the smoke from coming out so bad.
Yes, I recommend this product.
