- A: We do not use mil thickness in trying to determine the quality of a tarpaulin. Our camouflage tarps are listed in weave of 10 x 8 which means in a square inch there are 10 count threads woven with 8 count threads. The higher the thread count the stronger the tarp.7 years agoHelpful?

This tarp is a good value for a medium duty tarp. Well, made. I used it for a camping fly to keep us dry and shield us from the sun. Grommets make for easy lashing while keeping it from ripping.
